Size Info

OMALA sells its private label bamboo activewear line and Tao Freedom line of clothing on omala.com.

The OMALA line has its own unique fit in consideration of the bamboo fabrication. Below we offer recommendations on sizing to order based on the real-life drape of the tops, bottoms and cover-ups on a woman’s body.

Women love the feel of OMALA's eco-conscious fabric. Bamboo is 12 times more anti-static and four times more moisture-absorbent (naturally wicks moisture away from body) than cotton. OMALA's bamboo clothing is not pre-shrunk. After a machine wash and dry, all garments will shrink up about 1 inch in length (both pant legs and sleeve length).

Tops: We offer removable breast-cups in all tops except for our tees. Tops are designed to be longer-torsoed so that long stretches keep your tummy covered. They also provide more breast coverage so that in down-ward dog and yoga inversions, you won’t need to worry about where those two girls have gone.

Bottoms: Our bottoms offer 1 inch wide-waistbands to keep the tummy in without the pants binding in torso twists. The bottoms offer a mid-rise: 1-2 inches below the belly-button, depending on the length of your torso.

Cover-ups: Sleeves are designed to be longer – usually hitting the top knuckles of the hand; longer to cover the crotch and bum; and slightly roomier than a fitted tank or cami.

Buy Suggestion (for tops, bottoms & cover-ups): my fit is true-to-size meaning: buy the size you normally buy (i.e., if you normally wear a size Medium, then purchase a size Medium). The bamboo fabric has more “give” than traditional activewear fabrics but the OMALA clothing is fitted and body-conscious.

How to Measure

If you are not sure what your bust, waist, hip or inseam measurements are, use the guidance below to measure your sizes.
Bust
Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.
Natural Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.
Drop Waist
Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.
Hips
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Inseam
Using a pair of pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.
